Local institution unveils brand new logo and redesigned website to ring in the 50th anniversary of serving the Keene Community.
This year, Keene Beauty Academy (KBA), located on Park Ave. in Keene, NH, is celebrating a notable milestone in the school’s history. 2014 marks the 50th year that KBA has been providing a world-class cosmetology education to aspiring students in the beauty industry. Recently, the school introduced a new logo as well as an updated website as they look forward to continued future success.
With just nine students and one instructor, Keene Beauty Academy opened its doors in a small space in downtown Keene in 1964. Now, the school occupies a 9,000 sq ft space with five large classrooms, a brand new esthetics area, and a spacious cosmetology clinic. Despite its tremendous growth throughout the years, the staff and administration at Keene Beauty Academy remain committed to providing a high quality education with their low teacher/student ratio.
The school’s owners, Jeanne Chappell and Kathy Hammond, are grateful for the success they have experienced and are excited about entering a new chapter in the school’s history. “We are updating our look and our brand to bring the school into a new era,” commented Jeanne Chappell, Co-owner and Director of Keene Beauty Academy.
Hammond added, “Everyone here is committed to making the next 50 years as successful as the first. With our new logo and look, the school has been rejuvenated in its mission and we are thrilled to continue to welcome many talented students through our doors.”
On Keene Beauty Academy’s updated website, potential students can learn about course requirements for the cosmetology, esthetics and nail technology programs, as well as request information about the school and financial aid. For the community, the website also features the services available through the school’s cosmetology and esthetics clinic, where students have the opportunity to master their craft and provide quality services. All services provided are done by students and supervised closely by licensed instructors.
